H2 Energy Europe
Building the Future of Green Hydrogen in Europe
Presented by
Mark Pedersen, Operations Manager, H2 Energy Europe
H2 Energy Europe is a developer of green hydrogen ecosystems in Europe, aiming to realise the energy transition by establishing green hydrogen at scale as a core pillar of the European energy system. H2 Energy Europe firmly believes that hydrogen has the potential to transform sectors facing the complex challenges of reducing CO2 emissions, sometimes being the only viable alternative.
Major production projects include a 1GW plant in Esbjerg, Denmark, converting offshore wind power, and a 20MW plant in Milford Haven, South Wales. H2 Energy Europe are also rolling out a hydrogen filling station network with sites along major transport routes across Germany.
In this presentation, Mark Pedersen will share how H2 Energy Europe approaches infrastructure development, provide you with a glimpse into how some of their projects are being conceived, explain how their smaller projects provide them with the necessary learnings and insights to scale up the bigger ones, and highlight the sectors that can benefit from their investments.
The lecture will be held in Danish, but the slides will be in English.
The lecture will be held on Tuesday 10. September 2024 17:00 at Aalborg Universitet, Esbjerg, Niels Bohrs Vej 8, 6700 Esbjerg.
